Once again, I find myself diving back into the sea for its endless source of imagery and eerie mystery. I first discovered this coral in the tattered and torn pages of an old textbook from my local library. I was drawn to the unusual name and the small black and white illustration that accompanied its description. Only the skeleton had been rendered, in order to illustrate its stark similarity to the musical instrument for which it was named. My mind drifted to a ghostly sea of such forms, rocking to the movement of the ocean, and the clattering cacophony of their own bones.
